It's something I've looked into, but ?amusingly? we're likely to have a total-fire ban (not even campfires, burning barrels, or enclosed bbqs at parks) longer than it will take for me to save up for a cheap kiln and the drive down to get it. Maybe. Last year burning bans were on into October and beyond and if there's a $200 on the coast this fall...

It does seem like an ultra neat thing to do though! It doesn't tend to make dishwasher-safe ware, but who knows what it would open up in terms of the hobby collection? I've been watching Andy Ward videos on youtube. :)
