Water bathing on the propane ring outdoors instead of the stovetop is really nice.

Inmoculating mushroom logs, getting straw, and putting back the carport in the next two days too.

In some ways the joy of a vacation is getting to do things without stopping until I'm tired, without carefully metering out my spare hour or two per day. I'm tired. Hope you are well.

Wow! That's a lot of food put away.

There's really a huge difference in canning a bit, for a taste, and trying for "most" (>50%?) of my food in a place where literally nothing grows for six months. I've got the meat dialed, but veggies are an issue. I'm hoping this plus the hydroponics will help.

Veggies are in rough shape and very expensive up here in the winter anyhow.
