Forgive me
for backing over
and smashing
your red wheelbarrow.

It was raining
and the rear wiper
does not work on
my new plum-colored SUV.

I am also sorry
about the white
chickens.

My take on the poem:

A clueless person in ridiculous SUV destroys a simple and truly profound scene as portrayed by William Carlos Williams in "So Much Depends Upon".

I like this one, cause its true of life. If you have a nice garden, your neighbor's dog will come shit in it.
There's always some loser with an SUV destroying someone's totally kitch memorabilia.
