Diet Pop Of Death?

http://www.livejournal.com/users/breklor/316768.html

Very interesting. I'd been avoiding the stuff for years because of a link I'd heard of between poorly-stored aspartame (breaks down in heat) and gulf war syndrome, and also Chris said at one point that it's one of two approved food additives with 'death' listed as a side effect.

You guys who like sweet stuff that's not sugar: stevia in tea is nice. The plant sale at VanDusen is this Saturday. Come get some stevia! ;)

About dad: it's the sense of entitlement and victimisation that's displayed so well there. If something doesn't turn out right, there's no way -he- has anything to do with it. Anything with any element of competition, he should win. Anything with any element of chance, it should favour him. Kynnin'll know some of this has been part of my nature too, though I think I'm getting it down to workable levels now.

These little notes of increasing self-awareness are neat to read.

Reading that back, it sounds bad... But, from my view of the world, I'm not moving forward if my self-awareness isn't steadily increasing, so it's just to say that it's cool to see you moving forward in a way that I value personally.

This may sound creepy, but I figure I owe it to you, and to our relationship then, to try and figure out what happened in it in the end. A lot of that involves uncomfortable admissions, although after making them I find I'm actually a bit more comfortable.

One of my co-workers put it this way: "There is currently a widespread clinical trial to decide the long term side effects of consuming aspartame. You get to decide if you want to be in the control group."
