it's a fantasy series about these amazing characters that you absolutely fall in love with. it's the story of a little girl that no one believes in who grows up to be the most powerful queen the world as ever seen, surrounded by these incredibly strong males that you wish this world had more of. the first book can be difficult to get through because a lot of bad shit happens and it's really upsetting, but it's worth it to keep going with the trilogy. everyone i have told to read it absolutely loves it. you can get it as one compilation, (the black jewels trilogy) or pick up the books individually: daughter of the blood, heir to the shadows, queen of the darkness.
