Rough Night

Wow, rough night for me. I managed to catch up on a bunch (not all) of the sleep I needed by going to bed at 5:30 last night. I did basically a bunch of half-hour naps plus my usual six hour stretch, and man, does sleeping that way ever give you bad dreams. I had terrible dreams about everything and everyone in my life, especially about work.

*shudder*

Now out to work with lots of lingering disquiet. I see the Juggler and TOW tonight, possibly (probably?) for the last time before they head out on a week's trip to visit their family back east.

Restless. Uncomfortable. I can't anticipate what the world will be like more than three hours in the future, when I begin to finish work. Don't like that.

*comfort* I hate odd dreams.. I don't get nightmares.. But I do get annoying dreams every now and then...

Hope you'll become less restless and uncomfortable as the day progresses.. You should get one of your SOs to give you a back massage..

Hee hee :-) Not sure if you know, seeker9, how funny a statement that is -- Greeny is the biggest "backrub slut" I've ever met :) But I agree, a backrub is in order.

Now, to you, greenstorm: tonight doesn't have to be the last time you see us before we head out for the trip. You could come visit tomorrow evening (we'll either be packing or working in the garage) and hang out, or you could come over Friday evening to see us off if you like? We can talk about it tonight. I tend to define nightmares as something that leave me afraid, and bad dreams as something that leaves me worried/insecute/disquiet.

As for me.. I've had some bad dreams in the past a number of years ago.. Usually, the day of, I'll have a bad dream that pretty much indicates that my girlfriend of the time was going to break up with me.. I always hated those dreams.. Because, when they tell me they are breaking up with me.. I'm not surprised and was more annoyed, because it left me feeling quite insecure and worried that whole day..

Yeah, it always ends up feeling inevitable when mine end too, like something that I knew about months ago but didn't really want to think about. Wonder if it's pessimism or sensitivity to the particular situation? ;)

Don't know.. For me.. In a couple if cases.. I thought everything was grand... And then the dream, and then them telling me they want to break it up.. So, the dream was always a shocker.. But hey, I'm human..
