Nighttime

Nighttime always puts me in a solitary, appreciative mood, or at least being out on the city streets at night does. It's lovely and quiet and not lonely at all, and there was the boy with the red sequined cowboy hat who liked mine too, and the other coming out of EA with that big smile, and the two nurses talking about their cats on the bus...

People are a nice place to visit from afar.

I'll second that. I love to people watch, and walking at night really is a different world. Can't do that here on the rock though, cause it's as black as black can be - no streetlights here. Maybe i'll do it next time in Vancouver. Sounds like exactly where my head is at these days.
