I'm observing her from the POV of an undiagnosed neurodivergence of some kind now, and it makes so much sense. She doesn't have what I want to call a "normal" relationship with the world. She carefully tailored her life so she didn't have to, but it shows up sideways. Also things like cranking screws - I always err on the side of too little because I don't want to break something, she errs on the side of too much because I guess she always had to fight pretty hard to make things happen, but neither of us have the ability to just do it right.
She's inspired me to plant more apple trees next year. And maybe some grapes.
