There were 4 deaths, I think, and a lot of infrastructure damage. That's not so much in the scheme of the world right now. The one highway took two years to put together but that was before covid supply line issues. I'm not saying it's not an enormous impact on folks here but I'm not sure how international the news is. BC news barely even makes it to the east coast of Canada most times.
