Nurseries and Sunshine
Feb. 22nd, 2004 11:36 pmIt was good to be out today, haunting the nurseries with the Juggler. Got heather to finish the rose bed, got tomato seeds. Looked into a hydroponics store. Basil planted, tomatoes planted, more peppers planted. It's nice to be able to do this with the Juggler's lights indoors. It'll be nice to get set up with some hydroponics greens over the winter when the garden outside's done producing for the summer.
Good to be home tonight; it was a long day and I'm tired. The guiding at VanDusen is going to be both fun and challenging. Work's work, busy and keeping me on my toes once in awhile. People are people, unpredictable, sometimes wonderful and sometimes just complicated. I had a really complicated spell for a few days back there, so I'm glad they're back to just being nice. :)
Got the fig repotted and cuttings taken -- twelve potential fig trees rooting in various ways, isn't that fun? The peas are coming up in the garden outside. I'm starting to get my stuff from the balcony into the ground.
I think that's about it for now. Take care, and enjoy any sunshine that comes your way for me.
