Some Stuff
Jun. 8th, 2004 08:35 pmHm. Well, all in all it's been a great thirty hours or so. I went for a nice walk with Mouse during which we spent a bunch of time peering into people's backyards at their gardens.
I was way too tired last night, though managed to enjoy most of the time I was awake with the Juggler. I still suck at going to bed alone, though, at least with him. It's better with the guy, to go to sleep when he's in the house but not in bed with me, because I don't expect to feel close to him anyhow. With the Juggler, as I said, it's different.
Still, a nice night, a way-too-early morning, and a very long day later I'm well-off. There's some interesting sex stuff I want to put in here re: female ejaculation and sex noises, but I won't.
I have a bit of a crush on someone. It's been a long time. I used to live almost completely in a fantasy world of what-ifs, and haven't for awhile. It's nice to get back to touches of that. No, I don't know his name. :)
But the real event is the Vandusen Garden Show, which I'm coordinating a piece of this week. I was there from nine to seven today and will be there from nine to noon tomorrow. Then it opens on Thursday (I'm skipping the party Wednesday night) and I'll be there on and off until it closes Sunday. I think I may not have to stay all day every day, which will be a big relief not just on time but for my skin. A day with SPF thirty sunscreen has left me very lightly burnt. It was apparently twenty seven degrees yesterday. We could use some overcast, maybe a sprinkle, so all the plants don't die.
But! Go see the Show! www.vandusen.org has the schedule on the three stages for the four days, so one day might be more interesting for you than another. There are some cool displays, though. The one called 'Sirens' was coolest today, that and the weird tree, but not everything is up yet. Soooo neat. Also, there are cool plants for sale there. Also, there is a philosopher's cafe. Also, I'll be there, so you should come. :)
Now: I eat, bathe, and fall asleep. Tomorrow: VanD, a nap, a run with Mouse, and possibly even work. I will remember to bring my running shoes. I have breakfast ready for tomorrow, too, which is good 'cause I'm way behind on my sleep.
Muah!
