Hm.

Well, I ended up going, and due to transit-stuff it took me quite a while. Stayed for about two hours, but ended up wishing I could stay a little longer -- good, all in all. I like the tail-ends of parties.

It was nice to chat with echo2oak for awhile, and it's good that I've got stuff to keep me busy today -- I really do wonder how much my mood is correlated with the weather/light sometimes.

Rats are home. Dishes are getting done slowly. I need to get more sleep at some point, since I was up pretty late and then woke up around 8.

Aiee!

Sunburn on head peeling. Icky. Also, bad for self-esteem. Normally I 'don't care how I look' because I look like me. Now I look like me with some sort of hyper-dandruffy skin disease. :(

Seven Hours and Two Books Later...

In pursuit of the rat thing, I just spent seven and a half hours doing laundry at the very accommodating zargon's house. Thank you so much for lending me your machine and the driving, zargon and rainbowk!

My mind is not gone completely, though. I churned through the first two Myth books by Robert Asprin, plus I got some catchup on sleep, but I seem to have become a staring zombie. I need to clean the rat cages out again and make myself supper now, but these seem to be beyond me somehow.

I don't remember how I ever survived school. That was about seven hours too, right?

So all I've accomplished today is, well, a bit of a good chat with echo2oak, and housekeeping stuff, dishes and laundry. I think I need to pull out that anvil and make jewelery or something.

I'm beginning to get a little worried about the light levels in this house. You know, it's already dark outside and it's only 8ish? This sort of gloomy rain-stuff really puts me off, and I'd forgotten how much. If I -go out in it-, say running, for an hour a day, then I'm good. I can fake it by sitting in front of a huge window where I can hear the rain. But, if I don't brave it somehow, I'm just useless.
