Yes, well, it's still raining. You know it's been an unusual year, because I'm posting this in my livejournal as if it's unusual.
It cleared up enough for me to take my people on tour, which was cool. The tour ended up running over two hours because they were interested in looking at stuff, rather than the standard hour.
Vancouver seems normal in the rain, like home. It belongs this way.
However, the rain also means that it started getting dark at 3pm and kept going. It never really got light. It was damp and cold. People were confused and unhappy on transit, which took longer than it should have.
I'm getting sick, either that or I've just been having too much sugar. I need to lay off the zucchini muffins (which have more sugar than zucchini, I think). When I eat too much sugar in one dose, either my immune system depresses or I'm just allergic to it -- my glands all swell up and my throat gets rough and such. Icky.
I am, however, off the grid for a couple of days -- I don't work until Friday. That's really nice, though I wish it wasn't raining.
There's more stuff to say, but I don't know what it is. Take care.
