One of my Favourites (you know you've been on LJ a long time when you repost poems). New translation, I think I don't like this one as much.

SADDEST POEM
I can write the saddest poem of all tonight.

Write, for instance: "The night is full of stars,
and the stars, blue, shiver in the distance."

The night wind whirls in the sky and sings.

I can write the saddest poem of all tonight.
I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too.

So many love poems. I dreamed a lot last night. Ghosts are returning, but there is sunlight outside and I own myself.

Well, not yet. But I've been going steadily with huge momentum for about four weeks now, and soon burnout (what we call relaxation) time will come.

There'll be a bit of drag to get myself to work today, a bit of push to get my old place cleaned, and Monday's gonna be difficult. Though I do need to get to Seedy Saturday, my weekend's completely full and if it weren't irreplacable I'd skip it for some unstructured time. Then, however, I have Tuesday off.

With a little bit of money to kill, I'm thinkin about a) buying something nice from Womyn's Wear (there was this galvanised rubber strap that has a cool delayed afterburn, but I'm getting Juggler a cane, so maybe not two things at once?) b) getting the boyos cut and/or c) getting a new, big rat cage that doesn't rattle.

Yesterday I went through Womyn's Wear and it was like a kid in a candy store. I definitely go through phases of interest in everything, from the deep solid loves like gardening and people right up to foods and other little silly things. This is an in phase for hitty things and it appears an out phase for food. I'm replacing a lot of meals with Ensure Plus, one of those meal-replacement thingies with extra calories, and supplimenting when I'm not replacing. I think I hit 2000 calories yesterday for the first time in months, which makes me happy.

I really want to get out and lie in the sun.

AAAARRRGH!

So, stopped off to get lovely strap today. Got off the bus, went into the store, got it in about three seconds, got out of the store- and realised I was not still carrying Chris' vacuum body (all the attachment bits were in my bag).

Got on the next 20, where the driver gave me some numbers to call. The lost and found for transit can't help me till 11am tomorrow. They can't call bus to bus to make sure no one picks it up, but drivers are supposed to look the bus over and collect lost stuff at every turn-around. Here's crossing my fingers.

*whimper*

I HATE wrecking other people's stuff. On the one hand, why would anyone steal a piece of vacuum cleaner? On the other hand, it looks somewhat like a ghetto blaster or something...
