It's Been Awhile...
May. 23rd, 2005 06:27 pm...(relatively) since I last updated. I've been all over the place, I suppose, physically and emotionally. I'm comfortable now, -ish. I've been appending -ish to everything I think or do, because I'm really not in full-on mode right now.
And, you know, when I'm comfortable there's not much to say? Um, I think, since last I updated, I've been married (my char, Juggler says, who was the groom? I say: me. Roleplay, folks. Weird to play both the groom and the priest at the same wedding, don't ask), gone to a fireshow that didn't happen (Cirque du Flambe), hung around with Juggler Mouse Breklor and the rain eating gelatto, gone to the hardware store a couple of times, looked at fish at Big Al's, went to the 'Metal Supermarkets' (sic) and thought of some very interesting stainless-steel manacle-making ideas, had a bunch of sex, visited City Farmer's garden (my peas are further along than theirs), planned the greenhouse, assembled some storage boxes for my room, and tried some boundary-pushing. Also, ate at the Shalin Noodle House (Juggler now wants to learn to make noodles).
I love my rats, my room looks like chaos, and a bunch of people have hauled away excess compost for me.
Tonight there's a poetry slam on 15th and Main. I've never been to a poetry slam, but I've been listening to some mp3s lately (GINSBERG'S AMERICA ROCKS) from Greatpoets and it might be a cool thing to try.
It's at 8, so I'd better decide quick.
I haven't had much to-myself time, though, so maybe... huh. Anyhow.
I find girls are definitely becoming more interesting than many boys in the last few months. It was a trend I was watching kinda curious/worriedly, but it seems to be pretty certain now. Whaddaya do?
I need to plant some lettuce rather than just mustard greens.
My rats are the cutest rats anywhere. I've rigged up a bunch of slings and hammocks and tubes-made-from-socks in their cage. Merlyn's seeming old, suddenly, though maybe it's just Helen wearing on him. I'm a touch worried about him. Need to bathe them.
This is gonna be a crazy week. Work Tues-Fri, Garou Sat, work Sun.
I am the very model of a modern major general.
...just testing. T'care.
