If you want it, and don't ask for it, at the time you want it, you have no one to blame but yourself. You totally are getting better at taking responsibility for this sort of thing. You're doing real good. Stretch it out, though. You know you can do it, so go ahead and extend it to everything, front, back, in the middle. You CAN. Go on. If you want it, ask. If you don't mind not getting it, if it REALLY IS OKAY if it doesn't happen, then you can sit back and let it come to you without propelling yourself. Only then, though. Remember this *every time* the name Kynnin pops up in your mind, as well as every other time. There is no rest for the wicked(ly polyamorous).

Love ya, kid.

Signed, Me.

Found image, I thought it was cute:

Poem:
The Secret

When you were sleeping on the sofa,
I put my ear to your ear and listened
to the echo of your dreams.

That's the ocean I want to dive in, merge
with the bright fish, plankton, and pirate ships.

I walk up to people on the street
that kind of look like you and ask them
the questions I would ask you.

Can we sit on a rooftop and watch stars
dissolve into smoke rising from a chimney?

Can I swing like Tarzan
in the jungle of your breathing?

I don't wish I was in your arms.
I just wish I was pedaling a bicycle
toward your arms.

~ Jeffrey McDaniel

Love the last stanza. Plus a link to something kinda cool: http://www.livejournal.com/community/vancouver/1441836.html

Anyhow, how can I have all this time to type random stuff and none to do 'real' updates? Good question. Off to make dinner. ;P

You know all that 'make a date with yourself, it makes you feel better' stuff? Well, sometimes, it does. Like, when you really, really want to curl up with your MUSH, your pre-teen fantasy series reread, your music, and your rats. When you want that and you do it, it's good.

I'm rereading the Sparhawk series (it's two series, both with fancy names). This is, in a very real way, revisiting my family. I spent more time with David Eddings' characters from about grade three to grad then I did with anyone. From age fifteen onwards, Kynnin rivalled that, but in those formative years there is no challenge. A client of mine asked me if I wanted the books (she's moving) so I gacked them.

And, you know? It's important. However I got saddled with this weird, not-reactive family that traverses a set plotline, I need to go back to it once in awhile. I've been spending a ton of time with my 'real' family, brother and mom, but that isn't all of it. I mean, it helps that I saw Kynnin for a bit today and had the below-posted epiphany (it feels good to talk to myself like that) but the book really helps.

Sunshine prolly does too, as does snacking constantly. So many mood-factors involved. I'd love to be a guy just for comparison.

It's good weather, up 28-30 degrees celsius, but I'm learning that's bad weather to be actually working in. I used to think I loved heat, but I just love being lazy in heat. I prefer physically working in cool.

Prrrt. Gack. Mrble. So there.
