I'm having a great time, but somehow remain both totally busy and totally incoherent. I do think Wed is the earliest I'm likely to post although I do have lots to say. I need a paid account so I can phone-post.

I stepped on glass today for the first time ever (a client had broken the glass the day before and thought she'd picked it all up, so didn't warn me, and obviously my glass-sense doesn't work without warning) and think I pulled the glass out, but my foot is swollen now.

Tomorrow will be busy. Photoshoot of new haircut then!

Juggler and I made a set of... stuff, wrist cuffs, ankle cuffs, and collar, out of leather and copper awhile ago. We never got around to putting rings on the cuffs, but that was the original idea, for restraint. He put them on me before I went to the folk fest, and talked me through taking them off afterwards (he couldn't be with me to do it himself). [edit: as in, they didn't come off during for anything. Showering areound them was fun] I really enjoyed that, and even afterwards it makes me kind of serene/buoyant. You'd think I would be whiny with not seeing him for awhile, but no.

The bruise on my butt from the zodiac is really scary looking now. It's a big round bruise, black-green, but it's laced through with lightning-type veins of black-blue that are the same colour all through, not slightly mottled like the rest of the skin. I'm fascinated by it. My body is a neat thing. It's weird to see what kind of bruises caning leaves, too, not the expected long stripes. Also, I am bleeding in the good way again. I wonder if my period is the source of this happy? I'm glad it waited till I was home from camping, and hope this is for real this time.

I love Juggler a lot right now. Actually, I love everyone a lot right now.

I did an awesome pruning job on a client's star magnolia. Guess what? Star magolia wood smells like ginger/cinnamon/spice. It was lovely to prune in that scent.

My rats miss me. Another 12-hour day tomorrow, or rather, about fourteen hours outside the home. Ditto Wed, brief visit with Juggler Thurs, and, um, this is enough of reciting my schedule.

It's been lovely and warm, my skin is tanned an odd walnut-brown colour, and my tomatoes are growing like crazy. Cockbite, the betta, is building a nest.

There is a salmon festival here in Sept, done by the people who do illuminares.

Yay, I got some updatyness down by telling myself I couldn't. Be well, all y'all. More laterish.
