Hah, and I thought I had the weekend off. Luckily, the lovely Crazychris reminded me I'm playing a pink-clad blonde tomorrow 'till 5pm. I really need to spend some time whining to either him or Tillie-- you two are my sets of ears. RP marathon tomorrow night, possibly kayak stuff Sunday, definitely a date with Juggler Sunday. Monday is work, then KMM and Tillie-time. Tuesday is um, work, VanDusen, more work... and then my schedule fades into 'too much to think about cause it's late'. Trying to RP on OS again, trying to catch Yev on Weds (also, play rehersals on Weds). Need to get a copy of the SCRIPT so I can MEMORISE MY LINES. Who has my copy? Have to get $$$ to Andrew-inri for food and photocopying, I know he's really busy and appreciate the time he's taken for this.

Nice dinner with friends tonight.

Got a free copy of the handmaid's tale, which makes me happy. Experimented with online porn, which is cool-- I have so much trouble with it, really. Anyone got good written sites?

Love y'all. :)

Bah.

Automagic 7:00 am wakeup time. This is no good. I should go back to sleep.

But... can I?

Someone wanted to know where I do my roleplay (was this you, Ziggy?)

There are two places. Both reside at http://jointhesaga.com .

Otherspace is a space-opera-themed MUSH, relatively code-lite, with big staff-driven story arcs. With a whole bunch of planets and races, it's still relatively character-driven (a must for anything I play). Otherspace is set in a very active universe; that is, there's always a lot going on in the world for your char to react to. It's often a little over-the-top (log on and ask about Nemoni Starship Hats, for instance) .

Chiaroscuro is a relatively low-magic fantasy world wrought in shades of grey. Although the world is relatively active and plots are run, they take a backseat to the interpersonal/in-character-social goings-on between players. There are no good guys or bad guys here, no obviously right or wrong courses of action, etc. Chia has a lot more heavy code-- crafting system, etc --instead of the more freeform Otherspace.

Both MUSHes are extremely RP-heavy, in the sense that I didn't roll my first 'dice' there for at least six months after beginning play. Although they're very 'literate', relying on your written word for almost 100% of action and interaction, the writing (pose length) is done in relatively short chunks. The mechanism for roleplay is, basically, that people describe their character's actions in alternating blocks of text, and with a specific set of guidelines to avoid stepping on people's toes, for those of you who've never been on a MUSH. Both have extensive chargen, with optional biographies, and pretty kickass wikis linked from the page.

I'm Greenstorm and Volskywalker there, as staff, plus I've got characters that I play.
