Excitement!
Jan. 7th, 2008 11:37 pmYesterday I had enough energy to use the internet and talk animatedly, not just drag myself from bed to work and back. Today I had enough energy to leave the house and do a short grocery-shop unassisted by car! This may just be because I've had today off work.
I've been working through the sick because of some factors at work (someone has a twisted knee; someone else has family in town) and it's been really rough. I've been nonfunctional since several days before Christmas (my hospital visit was the 22nd and my minor operation on the 4th) and catching up on things is super-intimidating. I've missed a lot!
I'm really looking forward to getting on with my life with the holidays over.

athomechef because I can go on and on about what I made for dinner. You should smell the roast in the oven now! Who knew that oregano was the secret that turned cumin and paprika into 'mexican' flavour?
