Shades of Awesome
Nov. 21st, 2009 04:39 pmI cannot tell you how nice it is to not have moving looming over my head. I mean, boy and I need to find a place, but not immediately, and not necessarily super soon (December seems like a terrible month for it). I am scaling back at work erratically (this week will be a full one) and making time for things like that workshop and hanging out with people again. It's good to think of seeing at least some of my friends on a semi-regular basis, not to mention having guilt over my rats off my shoulders.
I think I'm rediscovering my body and my senses. It's funny, because I'm playing video games in my free time and that's sort of the anti-body-awareness, but I've also been having some very nice physical experiences.
The only fly in the ointment is Angus, because although he is super amazing awesome to me (no one deserves this kind of love, we just receive it and are humbled by the giver's generosity of spirit) he continues to get sicker and sicker-- for those of you who don't know what this means, he's got some chronic pain, very intense lately, that hasn't been helpfully diagnosed. I wish so much there was something to be done about it but everything that's been tried has thus far failed.
