Dirty Beginnings

Today I moved some furniture around while doing a little of the massive amount of cleaning that'll need to happen. I'm beginning to see how the space is going to fit me, I think. I believe I will make the bedroom a cord-free zone, no electronics in there except potentially my phone charger. I probably won't go all the way to candles-only, but you know.

That leaves the livingroom as the craft and diningroom.

Debating having all the animals in the rat room.

Really need a good thick rug from in front of my fireplace if I'm moving the mattress away from in front of it, which I am.

Ogod it's so dirty in here. Walls, ceilings, surfaces, WINDOWS-- how did I let my windows get this grimy? And so many of my plants are dead.

"Seen"

Chat programs in facebook and gchat (I do love my text chatting still, it seems) have an option where they show you whether the other person has "seen" what you've written.

I think we all like to be "seen". When there's a safe space we can bring our insides out to play, and we like other people to acknowledge, understand, and accept them.

I know it's something I like.
