Today for work I rode along up to just short of Bulkley House and back. If you look it up on google maps you'll see the roads are all gravel forest service roads. They're… not quite driveable at the speed google suggests though.
First time I've been back there. It's nice, much gentler terrain than I expected. Beautiful sun-on-snowy day. Trees, mountains, rolling hills, wiiiiiide valleys. It was ploughed up till the last 25km or so, and still quite driveable beyond that.
I miss my old coworkers. I got along with them much more smoothly than with these folks, even though this was a pretty good person to travel with.
There's a fossil bed up there I'm going to go poking around in during the summer.
Last night I had a night to myself at home and petted the cats a bunch and snuggled with Avallu. That was lovely too.
Settling into routine. It's not bad.
