After a dissonant couple days and not much sleep I did a yang yoga this morning. Now my body and my mind are quiet. Hard body-work plus my period allows for this kind of quiet, I think because there's so much energy turned inwards working those muscles rhythmically. It's present enough that it returns me to my body, to not-thinking, to just existing in this one moment and then the next one moment when it comes.
