New Year's Night
Jan. 1st, 2006 10:08 amCasual/comfy around a fire, crowned by a full reading of Howl. Relaxed. You should try the reading Howl aloud thing. I will again, for sure.
I'd spent something like 72 consecutive hours with Graham, hanging out and then moving. When he left at the end of the night there was this almost audible tearing noise. I sux0rz. Oh well. The whole thing is scary, stirring old echoes only vaguely remembered. There are old footprints in this dust, vaguely remembered, the path slightly different, the feet that made them changed now-- but they are my footprints, and the dust they're stirring is old buried dreams. I can approach this like a grown-up now. I can't help but do better.
