...we're just about there. Drop off the deposit and the SO sees it for the first time tonight, then we move on to the vanpoly meet.
To be nice to myself for having got it done, I think I'm going to sign up for a pottery and moldmaking course at the trout lake community center. The Artist in me has resurfaced, and wheelwork has always been my favourite artistic meditation. Once I have some courses behind me to brush up I can sign up for their 'Pottery Club' which is just open studio access to their stuff, including kilns. Hopefully by then I'll be competent to buy my own clays.
Measured the front garden at TOH -- their finalisation on buying their house is coming up soon too, interestingly enough. Pulled up some weeds in the gravelly back garden in preperation for moving some of my plants here -- the deck at the new place is smaller than the deck at the old by far, so I luckily can keep some stuff here. I don't think I sunburnt.
Read some of No Logo, napped some -- I'm so tired lately, but then, I haven't been getting a ton of sleep so it's not surprising. Next week is going to be really stressful: job search begins. I'd shelved it for the apartment stuff, but I can't put it off much further. Sigh.
But tonight's the poly meet, this weekend will be just sort of restful, just breathe and I'll be fine...
Care, Erin
