All Writing, No Wall

greenstormBeen a chaotic week, that's for sure. Chaotic couple of weeks, really. I certainly don't tend to impose too much structure on the already disordered environment around me.
I'm flying high right now. Had a lovely, what does facebook call them, a 'hook up' on the weekend? a drum circle last night, I'm in a home with people who love me and who I trust, my ratties are all in the room with me too (I hate missing some of them all the time), I'm seeing Tillie and CrazyChris and my mom soon, I have breakfast lined up... yeah. Flying. It's the unsteady crashing kind, but it's somethin.
It was my first drum circle, and the first for my big mama drum, and I loved it. I don't have a drum down here right now and I'm going crazy-- except that my hands are bruised enough that it's prolly good not to have anything to hit anyhow.
It's exactly in tune with Tillie and my relationship that we're meeting for breakfast while she's on her way to the airport to see her girlfriend while I'm in town on a family emergency. It's nice to have friendships that last not in spite of but because of having other priorities sometimes. S'nice to do the making time out of nothing, too.
It's so lush and green here, I can't believe it. The air smells like green mud, the water tastes like vegetation, the plants are all giants, it's spent more time raining since I got here than I've seen in total in the last two months. My skin feels sticky-wet all the time.
I'm learning things about myself that I thought I already knew, but now know to take seriously. Things like, I like sex, I love people, my priorities are hard to read from the outside, I'm unpredictable, I like being outdoors.
Having music on tap on an electronic thingy like a computer is like heaven, but better.
I still need to go dancing. Sin is this weekend, no? I'll be at karaoke on Wed.
All's well on my fronts. Say a prayer or two for my boyfriend's family, though, please.
