greenstorm | Ingredients for Sanity

Time. Physical work. Sunshine. Sleep. Food. Put these together and something okay will eventually emerge.

I've slept more than five hours a night for three or four nights in a row now; closer to seven or eight hours for the last two. I'm eating at least two meals a day. Work today gave me a bit of a sunburn (I forgot to bring 'screen). It's been a few days now, and I'm settling into this new role. The knife's fallen, the past is behind me, and I have my future here in my hands. I can do what I choose with it.

I'm feeling much more level.

I may have made my big decisions for the next little while, at least.

It's been a really rough week. Thanks to everyone who put up with me. I'm getting functional again, don't worry. I may still need to spend nights out of this house, and anyone who wants to make me some food at their place will be treated like the angel they are (I'm still too weird inside this house to eat much while I'm here, and besides, being cooked for is being taken care of).

Now to spend a bunch of time with Uncle Dave while he's still in town.

Weird to be saner during ovulation, rather than less sane.
