If Ever There Were Words

November rains have started. Water's been falling from the sky all week, on and off, with more on and less off. My mp3 player mysteriously started working, and today for the first time I've become one of the crowd on the bus with wires trailing up into my ears; last night I biked with music and it sure does give a boost to the energy; I also snuggled with someone who had different music in their ear and it was a decidedly alienating experience.

Paul is going to Nepal at the end of this weekend; we got together and talked about Obama, and Angus, and Paul's girl stuff, and heirloom tomatoes. He said I could go on endlessly about Angus since that boy doesn't make me cry anymore. I said I'd write him letters by hand.
