greenstormThe NDP is sort of the soul of Canada, so that's good, and Jack Layton's a hard worker. And Elizabeth May's official now and has a good tongue on her.
But this is a terrible, terrible result. I'm not saying this from a partisian perspective exactly: I value a mosaic of voices. Conservatives too, even though I'm pretty left (I like bits of NDP, Libs, and Greens). Stephen Harper, however, is... something else.
I'm a student.
I'm going to work in an environmental field.
I'm a poor person.
I'm queer.
I'm a woman.
I want the right to partake in abortions.
I'm an environmentalist.
I believe in social safety nets, health care, etc.
...I'm in trouble.
