Nice Day.

Started out cold and rainy, but got sunny just in time for my bus ride home from work. I made some stir-fry, had a nap, and enjoyed some time to myself before the poly meet tonight. It was much-needed. I realise I've been a terrible person to be around for a couple of weeks, and I'm hoping it's just that I do need to keep my personal time up.

VanDusen spring gardening forum tomorrow, and one year anniversary of the group on Sunday, with a hot-tubbing episode in between. Putting off any work-related calls till Sunday, not just due to time constraints but because I feel better freeing myself from the responsibility (even if I'm not home enough to do the calling, heh).

Cherry blossoms are comin gout everywhere, especially down Burrard street by the Skytrain, with the magnolias soon to follow. I'm looking very forward to the magnolias, and to more cherries opening in VanDusen, and to learning more about hellebores.

I need to remember to keep this balanced, and do stuff I like sometimes even if it does mean I spend a bunch of time alone. So complicated! My poor daytimer's crammed, and that's only the stuff I can predict. :)

I'm thinking about swing or bellydancing lessons when pottery is over. Anyone know of anywhere good near the Drive?

What do you guys do for fun when it's sunny, anyhow?
