Looks like Wednesday is the last cold night in the forecast. It's definitely dodgy planting that early, but...
I have 36 squash starts that really want in the ground.
I also have 70 tomato starts, need to figure out how many to keep and how many to donate to the community garden. I can fit 24 or so in the greenhouse, I wanted at least one of each of the 19 varieties on the deck. And some types -silvery fir tree and lime green salad - can be planted right outside. I need to figure out if I can put a planter under the eaves of the woodshed, that would be 9-12 more, or I could put the smaller squash there. It's another good heat trap.
Cabbage, brussels sprouts, kale, and onions definitely need to go out Wednesday.
