Hanging onto the edge is one way to do it - i like the visual - it would make a great painting. I'm taking the hiding in my cave route - letting my reclusive side take over to heal myself.
Wow. Parallels still abound. It makes me feel as if i am not the only person in the world this sort of thing happens too. I truly feel your pain.
