This is my birthday. I feel pretty bad, though that may pass by the time early-morning is over. I hate all this, you know? It's kind of bewildering, like, what happened to my stressy-but-ecstatic life?

It's a shame that the whole Mouse-Juggler thing's gonna mean that Kynnin's gone too. All of them had their choices there, of course. I wish, I wish, I wish, that it could have been less of a herd thing, that Kynnin could have said, after seven years I still wanna be your friend, etc. I wish a lot of stuff, though, and most of it's never gonna happen.

I need more people in my life. I need to do things I like in community or group settings to meet these people.

As someone who pretends to be older and wiser than you:
As of today, you have not reached your peak. I haven't reached my peak. Sometimes I wonder if my boss has reached her peak, but she seems to have years more of gardening and grandmothering and possible 1.5 more books in her, so who knows?

My life has 'fallen apart' at least 4 times since I graduated high school, and all I have to show for it is 500 callouses and the knowledge that I'm bulletproof.

One day, you too will recognize your own invincibility.

So, this is my happy birthday wisdom of the year.

May the next all be happier than this one.
