Yes, I'm spammy this weekend. I can't think unless I write. I have a paper-diary now, for the bus and other places where I don't have access to livejournal. I think better while travelling.
I also love the fall. It's so very wonderful to have the full range of physical sensation available: cool air, hot sunlight, breeze, rain, storm, all at once. Everything has a stronger, more distinct scent now, as well, restaurants and leaves and people passing on the street. The sweet gums are already beginning to turn red in parkinglots, I hope they recover well from this dry summer.
I'm thinking and thinking and thinking about people I want in my life, who and how and when and all that. I find that when I play with reducing my emotional commitment to the Juggler, I like other people again. I can have crushes, I can be excited at the thought of another relationship. *sigh* I can't see it going well with him, though, if that happens, and that hurts me quite a bit.
I don't want to go through life discaring people like used clothing, however much it may seem they've done it to me first.
Got in touch with Trevor last night for the first time since the Folk Fest. We're going to try to get together, which means I hope silverseastar's free for random socialising another time this week.
People, people, everywhere. Did you know that okcupid thinks I should only date computer programmers who cook as a hobby? *whine* I'd love to try someone outside the template.

I'm spammy too.
Date: 2004-09-05 10:40 pm (UTC)Maybe it's just that fall puts those of use who love autumn into a contemplative mood. Fall is the beginning of a new year in many cultures - not just for students :) To me it was always a season of new beginnings, set off as it was (for me) by the spectacular New England foliage, and the crunch of dry leaves underfoot, the smell of woodsmoke and of new cedar pencils.

How did it come up with that? I'm intrigued.

Date: 2004-09-05 10:45 pm (UTC)Everyone's getting married this weekend, that's the problem. Last night three people I tried to call were out attending weddings, and I know a couple more were as well.
Yeah, the long weekend wedding thing
