Interesting discussion a post or two down on polyamory/monogamy. I'm pretty clear on where I stand within that sphere right now, and that's kind of neat.

I''m also rediscovering slight leanings towards tribal poly, which scares me. My fingers are still burnt and already I think abotu reaching back for the pot?

(Tribal poly, to me, means a bunch of people living together, some/all of whom sleep with some/all of the other people there, in a big 'family' sort of arrangement. Not everyone sleeps with everyone, etc).

And on a side note: fuck is a word with multiple meanings, just because the word "bat" means both a wooden club-like object used in sport as well as a bald mouse (sorry, french joke) that flies, doesn't mean we need to run off and find a new word for one of those things (or any of the other things bat is used for).

Fuck is both wonderful as a description of physical sex, as well as an expression of bile and contempt. They're about as similar as the wooden thing and the mouse...

'Fuck' is one of those sex words for me, I like to -say- it, and I like to -hear- it. When it's used as a negative thing, that engraves pathways I don't like to flash back to during that time pretty deep.

On the plus side, no one I know uses the word 'socksucker' negatively. :)

I kind of enjoy a degree of cognitive dissonance around things like that, the overwhelming associational clash that occurs when what one believes vs what one has been taught occurs in a safe, yet highly charged setting - then again, I'm also into the intrinsic primal duality of sex, love, anger, death, and life.
