Ha, Ha, Ha.
Dec. 20th, 2004 09:31 amI thought my voice was gone before, because it cracked and croaked and occasionally gave out.
Now, my voice is nonexistent. That's what I get for talking on it all day yesterday, I think. I -feel- better, though...?
More dreams last night -- the night before was an action-adventure dealie, where my plane crashed in the swamp and we needed to get out and get help before the leeches ate all the passengers. Last night involved photography, a neat place with a bunch of fountains, and the sucessful seduction of one of Chris' friends. It's funny, I don't enjoy hollywood-style plots very often, but even the tritest is nice and exciting in my dreams.
Lots of work this week.
Date with Juggler on Sunday, but he's car-less. I saw the coolest betta ever in Big Al's, orange with red splashes. I need to build something to house many bettas, so I can get ones like that at will. I also saw a bunch of pretty females at Rain Forest Pet Spectrum, on Hastings, but I just don't have the shelf space in my room right now for them. Upkeep isn't bad, water change twice a week and food is cheap, so I'm not saddling myself with more than I can deal with on that front. It takes a lot of bettas to equal rats. ;)
The girlies remain engaging and wonderful, I had them out for a bunch of hours last night. Caramel remains a brat. The other two retain their distinct personalities, Shoulderrat (Merlin) being inquisitive and gentle and nice, with Arthur being the scrappy underdog. I really should grab a fanny pack and bring Shoulder along with me. He'd be thrilled. Only problem: of course he can't come to work.
Scorpions seem to be really popular as pets lately, as my pet-store-hobby seems to be indicating. Give a Christmas gift! give a scorpion!

Date: 2004-12-20 08:14 pm (UTC)That would be scary.
I am not sure it's as scary as my favourite Revelation monster, the Demon Locusts - locusts the size of horses, with human faces and scorpion tails... their poison drives the victim insane with pain, but does not kill.
