It's not exactly mood that the rain and gloom interferes with. It's awakeness, rational thinking ability, and energy. I love the rain - I can walk out in it bareheaded and it's so warm! - but liking it isn't the same as doing well in it.

I've been able to sleep more, though. Kinda. I've been able to get to bed earlier, which does translate to waking up earlier (6am, this morning) but more sleep overall as well. I came home today after work with a container of sticky rice and crashed. Food and then sleep, still clothed, under the covers. It felt so decadent. I'm still a bit fuzzy-headed, but oh, well.

Buckley's works wonders on my sickness. I can still feel stuff rattling in my lungs, but I'm not coughing unproductively anymore. Yay!

I'm making my slow but steady way through the three David Eddings books I recieved from the cool lj person. It's really cool, because I grew up with the series, but these are new books. I mean, you don't get much better than that (except reading Good Omens for the first time, maybe).

My ratlings are doing well in their new caging arrangement, my time is full (though I've lost a client and am considering... stuff) and ...oh! oh! I've been looking into community gardens and ordering seed catalogues. I have all the tomato seeds I need for this year, but seed catalogues are the best thing ever.

My first delivery from Small Potatoes comes tomorrow. I'm curious and excited. This is basically a stopgap until the Farmer's Market starts up again, but that's not till May, so...

Also, got the little bookletty thing for my learner's license and my motorcycle learners' license. *grin*

I'm so fuzzy-headed right now. I think I need something cold to eat to wake me up. Juggler's gonna feed me some chili tonight, mebbe we can pick up fixins for milkshakes too.
