The Thing I Hate Most...

...is looking ridiculous. This is why, when Chris says, 'oh, Erin, are you crabby?' in his mocking tone when I'm in a snappy mood, it works. Because if I snap back at that, it really is ridiculous.

This morning, in the shower, I managed to squirt soap into my eyes. It hurt, sure, but worse was the sting of absolute incompetency. Yes, I'm sick. Yes, sick means I'm too clumsy to use the kitchen without dropping and breaking everything in it. No, I don't want to be reduced to avoiding the shower -too-.

*chuckle* Actually, I get kind of impatient in the shower, often. Not my favourite place to linger. Assistants tend to make it slower.

Nah. Too much attention needs to go into not falling over for my tastes. Maybe if it were a rubber-lined shower with seats and stuff.
