You Know...
Jul. 21st, 2006 05:36 am...there are only so many "it's close" posts that one can make.
Progress check: this year I'm packing a backpack with tent and blankets and some food and transitting/walking to the festival. Last year I went by myself, with substantial setup help. The year before, stayed with Trevor. The year before that, I went with Mouse and Kynnin and were we living in Abbotsford at the time? Each year that was about the level of independence I was capable of. It's kind of neat to see the changes. Also amusing to read around that first year. My prose style and my way of thinking were both, um, rather dramatic. 2003 was the year I got very sick, IIRC.
This year, I plan on not getting heatstroke, and on dancing a lot, which is pretty much my plan for every folk fest thus far. See you if you drop by. :)
