When I was about eight I wanted to cook big family dinners, and that desire has kind of followed me throughout my life. Last night I put the beans on to soak, and left them on low over the (two-job, short-shift) workday, then I came home and made two meals: vegan chili and organic basalmic-and-mustard-crusted pork roast with onions and apples, honey-roasted sweet root veggies, and basalmic-herb roasted potatoes. It was really yummy. I'm pretty impressed with myself.
Need more bowls in the house.
