Some things have happened in my field that make my work precarious. I have a job guaranteed for a couple months, and after that it's uncertain and I won't know until those couple months are up. Thing about a small town is, there isn't much of anywhere else to go and still keep my property.
I processed the information fine at first, but it's bringing up a lot of the same things that last year's wildfire evacuations did. I'm super dissociating, floating through space. Losing my ability to form sentences. Substituting antonyms without noticing. Losing time. Losing my place *in* time. Losing ability to type-- words often end up backwards.
Here we are, I guess.
Maybe tomorrow will be better.
