So there.

Apparently razorburn is on it's way out these days, to be replaced by waxing and laser hair removal.
Not that I would consider doing either of these to my face, mind you.

It always takes my skin a couple days to adjust to the razor thing.
And aiee! What have we come to, a world without straight razors?

I think there are straight razors somewhere. I saw one in Sin City just the other night.

I came across one a couple of days ago too.
Nicer than laser surgery, no?

actually, i don't know if it would work on stage, unless it was a fake straight razor 2-3X 'actual' size...the audience needs to be able to see it...
....nevermind.

Tip from Amber-Dawn, Femme Extraordinaire:
-put baby oil on the surface after (and possibly before) shaving.

Anyone named Amber-Dawn has to be.
Thanks. Will remember that.
I think shaving cream/soap actually irritates stuff more for me.

Yes, I would like a straight razor as well. They're not designed to dull out after the first use.

A strange tip that I heard once for after-shaving irritation is to put roll on deoderant on the area. I tried it; I felt less itchy, but it wasn't my scalp.

Is there like classes on how to use a straight razor? ... cause well, they're very sharp.

I don't think so.
Like everything else, though, sharp things are less dangerous than dull ones. You have control and focus, with a sharp thing.
I think it was sexuality.org that has tips?
