Relationship-y.
May. 26th, 2005 08:49 amI'm feeling relationship-y lately. As in, like I have one. Weird stuff.
Dropped off my cheque for the Grandview Community Garden. It's a small space, but it's mineminemine. I think four tomatoes, underplanted with peppers and nasturtiums. Really, I should only put one tomato in the space, but how do you put in *one tomato plant*? How do you choose?
Bishop is back with Angus. He took his hammock, which is good. I wish I'd had more time to play with him.
Oh! Get this! I was at Home Depot and I found a -variegated clematis-. It was unlabelled, with a black-purple flower that had yellow stamens on it. To my knowledge, variegated clematis don't exist. Time to take cuttings. I'm all excited! It's really nice marbelling, too.
Today is insane for work.
Ohohoh! I have my boat operator's card now! I'm... well, scary thing is, I was legally entiutled to drive a boat up to sixty -meters- or so even before I took the test yesterday. Soon, though, everyone will need to know right-of-way, buoy, and nav light info before they're technically allowed to boat. That will be -nice-.
I've been drooling over boat ads lately. Why do I need to like both boats and gardens? This makes things distinctly awkward. It takes a really big boat to hold a decent computer garden.
Permaculture course info: the abbreviated summer couse is anout $900, which includes lunch and camp space. It makes it worth it to do the full one instead, but that's in June, which is like, now. *sigh*
I need to watch Tillie's drag queen documentary-thingie. I also need to squeeze in Playland this weekend somewhere. Sat evening, solo? Is it ethical to go to a roller coaster-y place solo? I realise, suddenly, all my carefully-acquired practice at doing things alone in the past few months has evaporated. Time to work on that. I tend to think, what if there are pretty girls there? Bah.
Okay, enough of this. T'care, you guys.
