Wait, No...
Aug. 2nd, 2005 06:49 pm...I sat down to say that I've been hugely social lately, and I'm happy, and I've slowed down before I burnt out. Tonight the idea's to come home, to make dinner, to do laundry and get ready for tomorrow... you know, do life-stuff again. I'm amazed that I'm not burnt out on the social thing, but it's prolly the three days of nonphysical contact back in there. I'm amazed that I'm not missing Juggler like crazy, and I am missing him, but I'm feeling pretty sane/anticipatory about it instead of insane/lonely/incomplete. Yesterday I got people to wear my clothing, and that was very cool. Today I have happy memories and that's cool too.
My happy memories from the party are:
o Beth all pretty in her green gown, once with her gown kilted up as she ran really fast across the field looking fierce to try and break through the Red Rover line (hot) and once half-asleep with a green rose and a shell falling out of her hair as she stood by the kitchen sink
o Angus presenting his butt to my cane (I almost fainted), and playing with his pretty hair
o Everyone in my pink fairy princess dress. It looked fantastic
o Reina holding a stuffed animal and chewing on her thumb, apparently unconsciously, in a fantastic imitation of a three-year-old
o Ryan in my skirt and the corset, and tickling him. Do you know how long it'd been since I tickled someone?
o Jhayne saying nice things to me in a hug when she was dropped off for the night
o Pouring water on Andrew. Repeatedly
o Chatting with Eugene in the car while we were picking up Angus' laptop. He's got an interesting story in there, and I'm intrigued at the little dribbles of it that I get
o Talking to Beth's mom and realising that other people have cool parents with close relationships with them too
o The fight-club guy from upstairs, who totally outclassed me in a verbal battle (I need to apologise to him) even though I took him at first for a standard drinkin' smokin' partier.
o Backrubs from Andrew even though I was mean to him, and from Tyler
o Meeting people I didn't know, who could make intelligent conversation, and who seemed interesting, thus reminding me that people are in fact cool
You know, I could go on and on, but I really do need food.
