greenstormRats chewed through water bottle. It had lasted so long! I got home and the bottom of their cage is a puddle of wer newspaper, sodden rat poop, and water. Plus, I need to figure out how to get water to them when I go to work. All this before breakfast!
Other bits: cool day yesterday, Wreck Beach was stupendously crowded (maybe because of an article in the daily paper) but still neat. We buried Colin twice, and there was an absolutely ginormous schol of tiny little fishes in the water that surrounded us but stayed a very set distance away. Also saw crabs, etc-- lots of life, maybe flushed out by all the people?g
My piercing turns out to be today rather than yesterday evening. Sigh. I should have called ahead to confirm, but thats okay. I got instructions on what to do before I came in, etc, and then I got Juggler to watch The Machinist which he agreed was a fantastic movie, and which remains fantastic on the re-watch.
I suck at getting to work today. It's Juggler's fault.
Now: water rats, find breakfast.
