At the same time, today's washigton post has an interesting article on how the "insurgency" is getting stronger. Odd. They are supposed to go away, aren't they?
I am half-afraid to research Vietnam more closely. It's ugly. The current situation is ugly too. Common wisdom up here about the current situation hasn't much changed since it began, to my knowledge-- we continue to be pretty appalled, and it continues to slide. I try not to read too much about it still, and instead till my soil and plant my seed and make my life a good and useful one. I'm not sure this is a 'right' decision, but it's easiest for me.
