Good Morning...
Sep. 12th, 2005 08:48 am...and welcome back to the world, Greenie.
Being in bed for two days straight back at the beginning of the week really knocked me out of routine. I need to climb back in, and today is the day I really start.
Today is Fall Cleaning day.
I tend to run around my home with a garbage bag picking stuff up once a month or so, so there's a lot of general-stuff that keeps cleaned out. I'm not, however, good at doing that with clothing, or with container-like objects. Today I'm gonna try going through my clothing and paring it down enough to get rid of my little-used dresser in the closet, thus freeing up some closet space.
Today I will also: get together with Tillie, get some online stuff sorted out, and continue working on the resume I need to send in to the permaculture people for next summer.
I should go over my tomatoes, too.
Last night I ate the first green zebra from my garden, which was pretty awesome. Green zebra (a green tomato, lime-and-dark striped) is a very tomato-heavy, rich, red, meaty, and a little bit tart sort of fruit. It's the diametric opposite of sungold, which is sweet, fruity, light, etc. I live both of them, and I love the contrast between them.
I think I'm going to Korean Movie Monday tonight (anyone wanna come?) and I will see about bringing Chris some tomatoes and some clothing (hey Chris, should I bring you the clothing, or just donate it?)
