Have I ever told you guys that I really, really dislike almost all transcriptions of laughter? 'heh' 'hah' 'hee' 'hehe' etc all get under my skin. I understand them as symbolic, but I also hear someone making that noise when I read them, and that's just not right.

It's funny, I have a tendancy to get either toppy or subby with specific people, but one thing is pretty sure with my personality when I'm attracted to someone: I will always get bratty. I guess I pull pigtails. I love people who meet that as equals. I'm sure it's due to all that Belgariad reading as a young'n.

RnG can be whatever people want it to be. If you want to just sit around and learn knots, just grab me or Colin or Charles or whoever and ask us to teach you stuff. If a scene is taking place and you'd rather be distanced from it, just ask me or Colin to take you to a quieter corner and tie knots. But seriously, RnG might be a little intimidating for some, but we're easy-going. As I say, the Grope is optional.

I too am not a big fan of transcriptions of laughter. You might think that strange, considering how many of these! I use, but it's true. The only one that I can really stand is lol, because it isn't onomatopoeia. I don't tend to use it, myself, because of the net-speak conotations, however, I can tolerate its use.
