Yes. Lots to say, not so much contemplative time to write.
First, I'm going to this. Anyone coming? He r0x0rz. http://www.livejournal.com/community/vancouver/1871049.html
Second, things are nice. It's so much less stressful working for someone else, I get to play with plants, and I'm learning neat things. I may end up spending a ridiculous amount of money on interiorscape magazine, because it has neat plant info, but oh well.
Relationshippy stuff is nice. I'm spending time with people I like in the correct proportions, which is something I don't always get right. I'm not carrying around guilt over work or over friend-stuff.
I'm seeing my family on a regular basis. In fact, every thursday we get together; this time I'm cooking chili rather than letting mom pay. She really enjoyed the stained glass class that my brother and I got her for her birthday, and has bought equipment and made a whole bunch more bits at home, repaired a lampshade, etc.
I almost never sleep in my own bed.
My fish have clean water, and I spent time gardening on the weekend.
I have cool person(s) to roleplay with when I can make it online and my internet isn't acting stupid.
I get paid holidays, on which I clean and get double-paid. Dude!
I'm starting to move again on citizenship/resume stuff; good, because I'd dropped off for awhile.
I get fortune cookies that seem directed at me and my situations at precisely the right time. This week: no journey begins without the first step. This after last week's, success is guaranteed. Y'know, seems wise to start, given that. ;)
Merlyn is getting old, but is doing well. I may need to take him into the vet for wheezing. L( I wish he could come with me more places.
I need to plant my knot/salad winter garden; Juggler has said he'll help me (turn-about, I helped him) to do that and patch up the plastic on the greenhouse.
I have people I like who will hit me.
I have learned to play with makeup, rather than to mask with it.
I am happy, stable, and eccentric.
