I've lost my voice. I can whisper okay, as long as I don't do it too much. My secretary will be making and recieving calls for me.

Walgreens and Eckerd are supposed to carry it in the US. Dunno up there. But if you can find it...it's good for throats. You're a plant person, so I don't have to explain what creosote is, I'd assume? At any rate, it's effective in throat coating for healing. Though they've thinned it since the old days. I used some last bad cold, and it doesn't coat as well as it used to.

Zinc lozenges, slowly dissolved in the mouth, are also good.

And of course, there's Hall's drops. And vitamin C drops. And peppermint candies.

Creosote-treated garden stuff isn't legal here anymore, for environmental reasons. Best thing I find, though, is still hot honey-lemon, very strong. :)

Bah, environmentalists. You understand the principle of coating the raw surface to protect it while it heals, though, right?

Honey-Lemon is, however, quite good.

If I just stop talking, there will be no more trauma to the area ;)
